The Role
Working as part of the Catering team to deliver a range of food and beverages in line with Food Hygiene legislation and NHS Lanarkshire policies and procedures to meet the nutritional needs of patients, staff, and users of NHS Lanarkshire services. To work alongside and support new staff in the working environment.
In This Key Role, You Will
- Kitchen duties
- Serving customers
- Taken food orders from patients
- Cash handling
- Stock control
- Moving stock and freezer work
What You'll Bring
- Knowledge of catering standards and related procedures.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety including participation in risk assessing individual tasks.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
