Overview
NHS Fife is expanding its early pregnancy service and we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, compassionate, and clinically skilled nurse to join our developing multidisciplinary team delivering person centred care to women and families experiencing early pregnancy complications.
The post is primarily based at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy with some clinical activity in the new Gynaecology Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
Responsibilities
The post holder will work within the out-patient area providing nurse‑led care to women requiring early pregnancy assessment, investigation and treatment.
The post holder will work to deliver specialist clinical care and reproductive health choices appropriate to the needs of the patient group, working closely with other nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to implement programmes of nursing care for individual patients and the client group as a whole.
Qualifications
You must be a NMC Registered Nurse, educated to degree level. Previous experience working in gynaecology, infertility or early pregnancy care would be advantageous. Applicants should possess enthusiasm, excellent team‑working skills and effective communication.
