Overview:
We are looking for a Middleware Engineer experienced in the administration and support of Oracle Middleware platforms. This role involves ensuring the stability, performance and security of the platforms, in addition to actively participating in resolving incidents, system updates and supporting projects. We are looking for someone with strong technical and communication skills, who can collaborate effectively across multiple areas and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Required Experience:

- Administration of WebLogic 11g and 12c, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization.
- Experience in administration and support of OSB, BPEL, SOA, WCS, WCC, BI Publisher, AIA, OSM, UIM, OHS, OTD, OUD and OAM.
- Proficiency in patching WebLogic middleware and other Oracle products.
- SSL certificate management.
- Experience in updating JDK and patching TZDATA in middleware environments.
- Medium level Unix knowledge and experience in shell scripting is desirable.
- Skill in implementation and automation with WebLogic Scripting Tool.
- Redis administration and support.

Tools:

- Familiarity with ssh tools like Putty or similar.
- Use of SQL clients such as SQL Developer or similar tools.
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios.
- Management of APMs (glowroot, dynatrace or similar) and profilers such as Java Mission Control for performance diagnosis and optimization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the stability and performance of middleware platforms through continuous review and proactive improvement proposals.
- Respond and resolve incidents and platform problems, guaranteeing a response time within the SLAs.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, including the planning and implementation of upgrades and migrations.

Studies:





- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related.
- Relevant certifications in Oracle WebLogic, SOA, OSB or similar are highly desirable.

Soft skills:

- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work as a team and under pressure.
- Proactivity and self-management.

Languages:

- Proficiency in technical English and Spanish both written and oral, desirable
