As an Advanced Application Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role leading and advising on the implementation of advanced process control (APC) projects, guiding solutions that incorporate mining process expertise and machine learning to deliver innovative solutions that enhanced advanced control solutions and meet customer expectations.

You will report directly to our Sr Program Manager and you’ll work out of our Santiago, Chile location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by leveraging your technical knowledge and leadership skills to drive project execution and enhance customer satisfaction. Your challenge will be to deliver integrated advanced control solutions using data science techniques to build complementary solutions. The APC technique we utilize is Model Predictive Control (MPC). This position specifically focuses on participating in projects associated with Mining, Minerals, and Metals (MMM).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the implementation of APC projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope and budget.




- Utilize machine learning techniques and Python programming to develop and optimize control strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.Experience within the mining industry
