Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced band 6 midwife to join our team here at NHS Fife.

Responsibilities

- Assist, lead, nurture and develop the maternity service.
- Provide evidence‑based, safe and effective care to pregnant women and families.
- Deliver education and training to the multidisciplinary team, acting as practice assessor and supervisor for student midwifery cohorts.
- Support the complex care Consultant Unit, Midwife‑Led Unit, Planned Caesarean Section team and Induction of Labour Suite.

Qualifications

- Experienced registered NMC midwife at band 6 level.
- Degree‑level education.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, passionate about midwifery and woman‑and‑family centred care.
