Job Overview
We are currently looking for hard‑working, enthusiastic and friendly people with a Diploma in ODP NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds 752, or a first‑level nurse with a current anaesthetic competency certificate, to join our fast‑paced Acute Theatre Suite.
Responsibilities
- Work shift and weekend work, including rotational nights as required.
- Provide a comprehensive anaesthetic assistant service within operating theatres and outlying areas such as the Emergency Department resuscitation area, ECT unit, Community Dental Unit and Interventional Radiology as and when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in ODP NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds 752, or first level nursing qualification with a current anaesthetic competency certificate.
- Membership of UK HCPC or UK NMC register.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom (or EU settled/pre‑settled status) and a valid visa if applicable.
- Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team and evidence of continuing professional development.
