This role is a key operational and subject matter leadership position within a global payroll organization, responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll execution in complex, multi-country environments. You will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processes for assigned jurisdictions, with a strong focus on Poland, while contributing to the continuous improvement and scalability of general payroll operations. Working in a fully remote, globally distributed team, you will collaborate closely with Finance, Tax, Product, and Operations stakeholders to ensure payroll integrity and compliance. This role requires both hands-on payroll expertise and the ability to influence process improvements across systems and workflows. You will also contribute to automation initiatives and AI-enabled enhancements that improve efficiency and accuracy. Accountabilities:
Process payroll accurately and on time in compliance with country-specific regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
Manage full payroll cycles including validation of inputs, calculations, reconciliations, and post-payroll activities.
Act as a subject matter expert for Polish payroll, staying current on legislative, tax, and compliance updates.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll execution across multiple stakeholders.
Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies while escalating risks and complex issues when needed.
Support implementation of payroll services in new or expanding jurisdictions, ensuring operational readiness.
Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
