Purpose and Objective

The position of SME (Subject Matter Expert) will have the purpose of planning and managing the identification, processing, obtaining and monitoring of the environmental and sectoral permits necessary for the development of the Glencore Project in Chile, ensuring compliance with standards (environmental, sectoral, regulatory), as well as Glencore's corporate standards. Advise on the permitting strategy for the project,



considering alignment with the permits required by third‑party infrastructure and/or other synergistic project, as well as provide support for the bi‑national treaty. Ensure that permits are obtained within the deadlines required by the project schedule, to make its construction and operation viable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, Forestry, Civil Engineering or related careers.
- An advanced level of English is highly valued.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental and sectoral permit management processes, with proven experience in large‑scale mining projects.
- Extensive experience in processes of development of environmental impact studies and statements and their evaluation processes.
- High capacity to manage and supervise environmental and social baseline studies in the field, as well as complementary environmental studies.
