We are looking to hire for the position ofMiddle School Science Teacher (Tentative) for the

2025-2026 school year, according to the following skills and qualifications:
Position Details

Name: Middle School Science Teacher (Tentative)
Reports to: Middle School Principal
Time commitment: Full-time

Qualifications and Experience
Degree and teaching certification that covers Science grades 6-8, and preferably another
- A minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience
- Experience teaching through inquiry with a project-based curriculum
- Experience teaching and assessing the Next Generation Science Standards
- Experience developing instructional units using the Understanding By Design framework
- Experience delivering social and emotional learning lessons
- Experience working in a multicultural school environment
- High proficiency in English

Skills
Ability to inspire middle school students and celebrate their unique stage of development
- Ability to differentiate instruction in a class with diverse learning needs




- Ability to create an engaging and active learning environment in a student-centered
- classroom
- Flexibility to adapt to changing instructional needs and/or scheduling needs
- Strong skills of collaboration
