This is not a soft customer service role. This is a senior operator role inside a fast-moving, high-standards digital marketing agency where the work is fast, the standards are high, and the team is sharp.
If you want a calm, predictable, low-stakes CS role, this is not it. Close the tab. No hard feelings, there are good roles like that elsewhere.

**WHO WE ARE**
We’re a digital marketing agency that works exclusively with exterior cleaning businesses (pressure washing, soft washing, window cleaning). We’re at $1.2M in revenue, 150 active clients, and client retention sits at 98 to 99%. Our clients love us, our results are real, and we’ve built that by being obsessively good at one niche.
You’d be joining a Client Success team of two long-tenured senior CSMs who set a high bar. They’re resourceful, they go the extra mile, they own their books, and they push themselves to keep growing. That’s not a slogan; it’s how the team runs and it’s a real reason our retention is what it is.
The founder is directly involved in training the CS team. One-on-ones, call reviews, live feedback on real client conversations. The training culture exists and it’s active.
What we’re doing this year is sharpening and formalizing the systems behind it so the next person ramps faster and we can scale the function. We want someone who’s energized by being part of that build, not someone waiting for a finished playbook to be handed to them.
We’re also at the front edge of how AI is reshaping client success work. The right person is curious about leveraging AI to operate at a higher level, not intimidated by it. You don’t need to know how to code with AI tools, you need to be the kind of operator who sees a smarter way to do something and goes and figures it out.
**WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO**
- Own a book of 40 to 60 active accounts. Drive their retention, their growth, and their outcomes.
- Run monthly client review calls. Diagnose what’s working, what’s not, and where the account is headed.
- Diagnose performance across the full marketing stack (Google Ads, SEO, GBP, websites, LSAs, tracking) and translate that to clients in language they understand.
- Lead save conversations when retention is at risk. Get to the real issue, not the surface complaint.
- Identify and close upsell opportunities on your accounts, with full ownership including pricing decisions.
- Stay hands-on in the work itself: GBP optimization, content briefs, reporting, account audits, and coordinating with Ads and SEO specialists who execute.
- Contribute to building and refining the CS systems, SOPs, and training documentation as the function scales.
We are not promising the Head of CS role.
We are saying it is genuinely available to the right person on a 12-to-18-month timeline, and we’d rather promote internally than hire externally for it. This seat is the foot in the door for an ambitious operator.
**WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR**
You’re someone who has:
- 3+ years in client-facing roles at a performance-focused digital marketing agency (PPC, SEO, or lead gen), managing your own book of accounts. This is non-negotiable.
- Demonstrated ability to handle emotional, frustrated, or escalated clients without becoming reactive yourself. Calm under pressure is the number one trait.
- Strong written and verbal English with clear, easy-to-understand spoken communication.
- Strategic diagnosis skills. When a client says “leads are bad,” you instinctively want to look at missed calls, close rates, seasonality, ad spend, and CPC before you accept the surface complaint.
- A retention and expansion mindset. You think in terms of keeping and growing a book of business, not closing tickets.
- Resourcefulness as a default setting. You find a way. You don’t wait to be told how.
- Comfort with ambiguity. You can operate when an SOP doesn’t exist yet, and you’re the kind of person who builds it as you go.
- Direct communication style. You can give and receive feedback without taking it personally, and you don’t shut down when challenged.
- Curiosity about leveraging AI to operate at a higher level. Not intimidated by it, not dependent on it.
- Genuine interest in growing into a leadership role. Not just a title bump, building and running a team.
