This role is responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of labour relations and risk management practices across the region. It supports the achievement of business objectives by proactively anticipating labour-related risks, ensuring legal compliance, and enhancing organizational capabilities in collective bargaining, governance, and employee relations. The role adds value by fostering a stable and compliant labour environment that supports sustainable business operations.
**REPONSABILITIES**
- Develop and integrate labour relations strategy to support assets in anticipating contracts, mandates, and risk-related obligations.
- Lead and execute collective bargaining strategies across the region.
- Oversee governance, RCP (Risk Control Process), disciplinary cases, and labour assurance frameworks.
- Implement and ensure compliance with HR standards related to harassment and disciplinary matters.
- Manage and monitor the implementation of HR risk management processes and controls.
- Identify and manage external labour risks affecting operations.
- Partner with Employee Relations (ER) and asset teams to build internal capability in Employee Relations and HR Risk Management.
- Provide expert guidance on disciplinary measures and related procedures.
- Track and adapt to labour legal legislation changes in countries such as Chile, Peru, and Argentina.
- Develop and implement proactive strategies and plans in response to legal changes.
- Reduce risk exposure by continuously monitoring and improving labour risk management.
- Build and enhance leadership capability to handle labour issues effectively.
- Ensure ongoing labour compliance in close collaboration with the legal and compliance teams.
**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10 to 12 of experience in HR with a focus on labour relations and risk management.
- Proven experience in collective bargaining, governance, and legal compliance in a multinational context.
- Strong knowledge of labour law and regulatory frameworks in Latin America.
- Ability to manage complex employee relations issues and disciplinary procedures.
- Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
