As an **Accountant**, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely financial records for our company. In addition to the existing responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential in supporting the smooth operation of our finance department.
**Responsibilities**:
Enter all accounting information into Excel and actively monitor accounting data, including Cash Flow, Incomes, and Expenses. Perform reconciliation of Revolut accounts within Excel sheets, eschewing the use of accounting software.
**Invoice Tracking**:
Monitor and track daily invoices, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation.
Oversee invoice tracking for multiple bank accounts, ensuring alignment with financial records.
**Expense Management**:
Track expenses and invoices related to Revolut and other bank accounts.
Create bank accounts for all company entities and maintain accurate financial records.
**Financial Reporting**:
Follow up on the list of expenses, providing detailed reports on incomes and expenses for all companies.
Manage tasks related to cash flow, including lodgements and reconciliations.
**Tax Compliance**:
File taxes in accordance with Irish regulations.
Efficiently track and manage tax-related responsibilities for all companies.
**Qualities**:
Highly organized with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, facilitating efficient collaboration with various departments.
Adaptability to set up new processes and systems for improved accounting practices.
Previous experience in working with international companies is highly required.
**Software Proficiency**:
Experience working with accounting software, with preference given to those familiar with QuickBooks or similar platforms.
**Language Skills**:
Proficient in English; Spanish language skills would be a plus.
**Reconciliation**:
Demonstrated expertise in reconciliation processes.
Competence in managing accounts payable and receivables.
**Working Hours**:
The standard working hours are from 10 AM to 6 PM Irish Time, totaling 40 hours per week.
Additional hours may be required based on workload demands.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
