Mechanical Design Engineer - Agile Development and Prototyping

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development: Conceptualize and design mechanical systems and components. Focus on creating functional and innovative designs that meet customer needs and industry standards.

2. Agile Methodology Application: Implement Agile development principles in the design process, including iterative development, continuous feedback, and cross-functional collaboration.

3. Prototyping: Rapidly develop prototypes using tools such as 3D printing, CNC machining, or other fabrication methods. Test and refine prototypes based on performance data and stakeholder feedback.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and integrate feedback into design iterations.

5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, modifications, and final specifications. Present design concepts and progress reports to management and stakeholders.

7. Quality Assurance and Testing: Ensure designs meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Conduct rigorous testing of prototypes to evaluate performance and safety.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.




- Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in an Agile development environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with rapid prototyping technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with 3D printing and CNC machining.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools and methodologies.
- Creative thinking and a passion for innovative design.

Work Environment:
