About The Role

This is a great opportunity to apply your business development skills towards acquisitions in an entrepreneurial environment. The Business Development Associate will spend the majority of their time pro-actively reaching out to business owners and management teams of software companies to build and manage acquisition targets for our M&A; Team.

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow our M&A; prospect database by identifying small, medium,



and large sized software companies that meet our acquisition criteria in South and Central America
- Nurture acquisition prospects by proactively initiating and maintaining relationships with owners of software businesses (calls/emails/tradeshows)
- Conduct market research to evaluate potential acquisition prospects and obtain high-level financial and operational information about target companies
- Initiate outbound prospecting calls and emails to connect with target companies
- Develop and build relationships with CEOs, Presidents, and Owners
- Follow‑up on outbound and inbound prospect activities in a timely manner
- Track activities and maintain relevant information in Salesforce
- Some international travel (10‑20%) may be required.
