This role is part of Alcon's Quality & Regulatory Affairs function, a team that ensures our products are in compliance with general, local, and internal regulations and meet the strictest standards of quality as we help people see brilliantly.
- Perform specialized tasks and conduct independent research to optimize outcomes and contribute to project goals
- Ensure quality assurance processes are followed and products meet required standards
- Work within project teams and make decisions within the scope of assigned tasks
- Conduct studies, assess data, and prepare technical reports for approval
- Manage all quality-related activities at the regional level,

- Oversee quality control activities for finished products, including product complaints
- Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining documentation, and completing required training
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and commit to continuous improvement
- For Brazil: Hold legal responsibility for the quality, storage, and distribution of products at Alcon Distribution Centers
- For Switzerland: Ensure readiness for quality inspections, manage complaints, recalls, and product tampering, and oversee batch release
- Archive samples, make decisions on product use or sale, and investigate returned goods
- Implement procedures to update quality processes, control packaging materials, and prepare regulatory documentation
