- About the Role
- Reporting to SI Industrial infield & Comms Technology Superintendent Escondida, you will support the OT operations within facility team, to robust our pillars to maintain operational continuity and prevent plan. The role is based on mine site in 4x3 shift. Your key accountabilities will include:
- Lead facilities and Fiber Optics Maintenance Management.
- Ensure availability of Communications Rooms facilities and Data Centers facilities, including climate control, power supply and backup,
and access control.
- Manage life cycle of Facilities: UPS - Generators - Battery Banks - Air Conditioners - Facilities Monitoring, fiber optic network.
- Lead improvement process initiatives for early identification of technical gaps to avoid disruption in operational continuity services, within fiber optic network, facilities (upgrades) according to its lifecycle
- Establish a maintenance strategy and preventive inspection plan for fiber optic & facilities
- Design, execute and update planning and testing for service continuity plan (SCP), disaster recovery plan (DRP) to services related
- At cybersecurity level participate and lead audit, threat drill simulation and ad-hoc technical review
- Service Owner for OT Facilities & FF.OO, and contract representative for associated services L2 & L3
- Technical and operational reviews of services and cybersecurity structures together with the EoM
