**About the Role**:

- The work:

- The UI / UX Lead is accountable for leading a team focused on enhancing user experience by improving the usability, accessibility and desirability of a product. Coaches and develops team leaders / teams to deliver high performance.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Defines vision and strategy of the UX/UI team
- Incorporates industry best practices across the UX/UI team.
- Defines process and metrics to measure the impact of the team deliverables.
- Develops the capabilities of the team to deliver high performance.
- Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Works with Product Owners to define both long and short-term vision and roadmap for digital solutions
- Collaborates with other Digital factories and technology functions to maintain a level of design consistency and coherence across client solutions
- Enhancing user experience by improving usability, accessibility and desirability of a design solution.




- Conducts presentations and facilitates workshops using storytelling to connect, influence and engage the audience.
- Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
- Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs

**About You**:

- Design degree, Human Interaction Computer (HIC) or equivalent
- Years of experience in UX/UI
- Years of experience leading teams
- Strong experience in software design and development using the Agile scrum delivery framework within a high velocity delivery environment
- Excellent communications skills - both with customer / Asset and product teams
- Experience in User Research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, interviews and questionnaires, and translating findings into product design specifications
- Demonstrated background in producing high fidelity designs along with web / front-end development team
- Experience using UI / UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Office Advanced, Adobe or similar
- Experience in mining sector highly desirable but not essential
- Has a strong sense of ownership and proactively advocates for the end user
- Collaborative, curious, empathetic, open-minded, innovative
- Advanced level of English
