The position

Teacher Librarians play a pivotal role in cultivating a vibrant and forward-thinking learning environment at Nido. They demonstrate dedicated partnership with classroom teachers to design learning experiences that foster critical thinking, information literacy, media literacy, and digital citizenship. Teacher librarians also effectively manage the assets of the media center and serve as cultural ambassadors to our community.

Qualifications and Experience




- Master's degree in Library Science or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications in library and information science.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing a school library or media center.
- Strong grasp of current and emerging technologies related to information retrieval, media literacy, and AI Literacy.
- Experience with Library Management Systems (Follett, Aleph or others).
- Fluency in English required, fluency in Spanish preferred.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
