CBM360TIV is seeking an experienced Export Control Inspector to support its Mining & Mineral Loss Control Project in Chile.
The role ensures full compliance of mineral exports with regulatory, contractual, and quality standards across the supply chain.
Reporting To
Project Quality & Compliance Manager / Site Operations Lead
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and verify mineral export consignments prior to shipment
Ensure compliance with national export regulations and international trade standards
Conduct documentation review (certificates, shipping manifests, assay reports)
Coordinate with customs, logistics, and port authorities
Identify discrepancies in quantity, quality, and classification of mineral shipments
Prepare inspection reports and compliance documentation
Support audit processes and corrective action implementation
Education & Qualification
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related technical field




Additional certification in Quality Control or Export Compliance is an advantage
Experience
5–10 years of experience in mining, mineral inspection, or export control operations
Prior exposure to Africa or South America mining/export environments preferred
Technical Skills
Knowledge of mineral export procedures and international trade compliance
Experience in sampling, assay interpretation, and quality verification
Familiarity with customs documentation and shipping protocols
Strong reporting and analytical skills
