We’re seeking a specialty lines Senior Associate Broker with minimum 5 years of experience in handling Casualty lines of business. This individual will be assisting the Lead Producer of the team on existing renewal book of business in addition to any new business as assigned by the Team Lead. It is expected that the Senior Associate Broker will have solid carrier relationships, in depth policy contract knowledge, and strong negotiating/communication skills. One80 Intermediaries Casualty Team focuses on consultative brokering of specialty casualty lines coverage.

Your Impact:- Communicate with underwriters and customers to negotiate favorable insurance proposals.- Compare various insurance proposals to determine the best proposal options and discuss the features and benefits of each proposal with customers and ultimately asks for the sale.- Responsible for building and maintaining beneficial business relationships with customers and underwriters.- Responsible for managing/growing lead producer’s book of business through soliciting new opportunities and cross-selling new lines on existing accounts.- Responsible for learning and understanding company underwriters’ appetites for risk and exposure.- Responsible for servicing policies and handling client requests- 5+ years of wholesale brokerage experience handling casualty business- Active P&C; insurance license- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Effective negotiation skills- Ability to work independently- Ability to travel occasionally, as required
