We are now seeking an exceptional **Project Quality Manager - Customer Delivery** to join our Santiago, Chile team — a strategic leadership opportunity for a high-performing QA/QC professional who thrives in complex project environments and wants to make a visible impact across major mining operations in South America.

**Department Summary**
**Products Business Line | Customer Delivery | Customer Delivery Andes**
The Customer Delivery team is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of mining projects across the Andes region, ensuring world-class standards in safety, quality, schedule, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance.
As part of this team, the Project Quality Manager plays a critical role in driving quality assurance,
quality control, supplier quality performance, project compliance, and continuous improvement across all stages of project execution.
**Role Summary**
As the **Project Quality Manager - Customer Delivery**, you will lead the quality strategy and execution framework for assigned mining projects throughout the Andes region.
You will be responsible for ensuring all project quality requirements, QA/QC standards, supplier quality expectations, inspections, audits, documentation, and customer deliverables are executed to the highest level.
This role requires a commercially aware and operationally strong quality leader capable of influencing internal stakeholders, suppliers, manufacturing teams, site teams, and customers within fast-paced mining project environments.
You will directly impact project execution performance, customer trust, warranty outcomes, compliance standards, and operational risk mitigation.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Project Quality Leadership**
- Lead all QA/QC activities for assigned mining projects from project handover through execution and final delivery
- Develop and implement project-specific quality plans, inspection strategies, audit schedules, and quality documentation requirements
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, contractual quality requirements, international standards, and FLS procedures
- Drive a proactive quality culture focused on prevention, continuous improvement,
and operational excellence
**Supplier & Manufacturing Quality Management**
- Oversee supplier quality performance, inspections, FATs, manufacturing quality controls, and non-conformance management
- Support supplier qualification, audits, corrective actions, and continuous supplier development initiatives
- Coordinate quality inspections with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery compliance
**Risk, Compliance & Continuous Improvement**
- Identify project quality risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
- Lead NCR/CAR investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned processes
- Ensure accurate quality reporting, KPI tracking, and project quality performance visibility
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project execution and customer delivery processes
**Stakeholder & Customer Management**
- Act as a key quality interface between customers, project teams, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and site operations
- Build trusted relationships with strategic mining customers and project stakeholders
- Support customer meetings, audits, inspections, and technical discussions with professionalism and confidence
**HSE & Operational Excellence**
- Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture aligned with FLS HSE standards
- Ensure quality processes support safe, compliant, and efficient project execution environments
- Participate actively in operational excellence and MissionZero initiatives
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Significant experience within QA/QC, project quality manage
