Sandvik Rock Processing

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
ROLE OF AN APPLICATION ENGINEER:

- Provide technical and process support to the Sales area with technical-economic proposals for projects, products and spare parts, according to customer needs.
- Work with customers (engineers, consultants, design engineers, etc.) to understand requirements for new projects and continuous improvement in the performance of plants and processes of comminution in minerals and aggregates.
- Sizing and specifying crushing and screening equipment for clients in the mining and construction industries.
- Develop crushing and screening plant projects using simulation software and mass balance concepts.
- Prepare drawings for pre-assembly studies of equipment, including field trips.
- Develop technical and commercial proposals for crushing and screening solutions.
- Develop and conduct training for employees, representatives, consulting firms and customers on mineral processing solutions.
- Conduct frequent field visits to learn about the processes, understand the demands and propose improvements to the operation.
- Maintain direct contact with the Research and Development (R&D;) team for the constant development of our products based on customer experience.
- Constant follow up of ongoing projects, providing technical feedback to the engineering and implementation teams.
- Present value propositions for automation systems and new technologies for crushing plants.

YOUR PROFILE:





- An university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy Engineering.
- Proficient in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks’, Tekla or other).
- Proficient in AutoCAD software.
- Intermediate English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office package.
- Class B driver's license.
- Availability to travel inside and outside the country.
