This role sits at the heart of FLS’s site-based commercial strategy, integrating sales, service, engineering, and operations to deliver maximum value to our customers in Antofagasta.
We are seeking a Senior Site Account Manager - Antofagasta to lead and develop a high-performing Account Management Team at site level. The role is responsible for deploying the FLS strategy through a robust Site Account Management Business Plan and dedicated Site Account Plans, while driving strong cross-functional collaboration across the FLS organization.
You will act as the strategic interface between the customer and FLS, ensuring alignment, value creation, and long-term partnership growth—while proactively identifying and developing new commercial opportunities across the full FLS portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership- Define and deploy site-level account strategies aligned with FLS global and regional objectives.- Lead, coach, and supervise the Account Management Team to ensure consistent,
high-quality customer engagement.- Strengthen and expand long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.
Customer & Stakeholder Management- Ensure customers are regularly informed of project status through clear, proactive, and transparent communication.- Represent customer interests internally, ensuring expectations are understood, managed, and fulfilled.- Maintain deep knowledge of the customer’s organization, priorities, and decision-making structure.
Commercial Growth & Opportunity Development- Proactively identify, develop, and convert new commercial opportunities across the full FLS portfolio.- Lead solution development efforts tailored to site operational needs, coordinating multidisciplinary internal teams.- Improve FLS’s position in the buy-sell hierarchy and competitive landscape at site level.- Monitor competitor activity and peer performance to ensure FLS remains strategically positioned.
Value Creation & Strategy Deployment- Deploy the Sustainable Productivity Enhancement Strategy at site.- Promote and embed FLS strategic objectives through value-based selling and solution positioning.- Ensure strong understanding and communication of FLS capabilities, products, and services.
Safety, Sustainability & Compliance- Promote a strong culture of safety and self-care for yourself, your team, and all stakeholders.- Actively participate in HSEQA plans, programs, and initiatives.- Ensure reporting and investigation of incidents, near misses,
unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions in line with company standards and policies.
Qualifications & Experience- University degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Commercial Engineering.- Minimum 5 years of experience in mining or heavy industry sectors related.- English written and spoken at intermediate level.- Strong strategic and commercial mindset- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills- Proven leadership capability with a collaborative, team-oriented approach- Proactive, opportunity-driven, and results-focused- Clear communicator with the ability to translate technical solutions into customer value- High safety awareness and strong personal accountability
