**Team overview and job responsibilities**
The country QHSE Manager has responsibility for:
**Main Responsibilities**
To be the focal point within the country for all the function’s related activities, acting as direct interface with the rest of the areas. To ensure the correct use of the tools available (such as: NCR, Claims Management, Audit checklists, HSE reports etc.) and the relevant reporting. To manage the local Quality and HSE Management System (in alignment with the Group). To coordinate the activities with the selected certification body. This includes:
- Represent the focal point of the region for the selected certification body with the aim of collecting and sharing all necessary information.
- Monitor the execution of all 3rd party activities.
- To analyze internal non conformities data and coordinate the Quality and HSE Continuous Improvement projects portfolio. This includes: To coordinate internal process quality audits in an accurate and timely manner. This includes:
- Critically analyze internal quality KPIs in order to identify areas of improvement.
- Communicate and coordinate with plant quality team, plant manager and other involved functions.
- Assure that the auditing activity is properly carried out by objectively assessing the current status of the factory and its processes.
- Communicate effectively the findings, including applicable solutions and/or recommendations whenever necessary and follow up the corrective action plan in order to ensure an effective and timely implementation of the agreed actions.
- To manage all Supplier Quality related activities. This includes:
- Manage and eventually execute production process audit at suppliers’ premises (homologation,
periodical validation or in case of poor performances).
- Plan, coordinate and eventually execute all activities relevant to supplier production processes improvement (FMEA analysis, development programs).
- Monitor suppliers’ performances with the aim of identifying potentially critical situations on which activate corrective actions plans
- To participate to customer audits or inspections when needed, assuring that the related documentation is available and correctly prepared. To collaborate with R&D;, manufacturing and other relevant functions in the process of products’ type approvals. To manage the resolution of quality issues (internal or external Customer claims). To properly and periodically assess the performances of his/her team following Group rules and providing proper recovery plans when needed, including but not limited to: organizing technical and managerial trainings, promoting a transparent culture based on frequent feedbacks, easing the collaboration among different countries and functions.
**Who are we looking for?**
At least 5-10 years experience in Quality and HSE leadership, strong managerial background. Experience in risk analyses and HSE tools Deep knowledge of quality management system international standards: ISO9001, ISO 14000 mandatory, additional standards desirable.
Good knowledge and experience in the basic quality tools for analysis and problem solving (e.g. Pareto charts, Cause and effect diagrams, Run charts, etc.). Basic knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Good communication, negotiation and team working skills. Ability to understand the context of the work environment and react with flexibility to the needs of the vigente situation. Take decisions Ability to identify potential problems, either technical or procedural, propose solutions and involve other colleagues in developing these solutions when necessary. Good use of MS Excel for data analysis (e.g. Pivot tables) and good understanding of SAP and analyses; Accuracy and proactiveness. Management of inter-departmental relations. Listening and strong work ethic. Time management. English mandatory.
