Application Specialist / Senior Application Support

About the Role

We are seeking an Application Specialist / Senior Application Support professional to ensure the stability, availability, and continuous improvement of business‑critical applications in an industrial and mining environment. This role acts as a key bridge between IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors, supporting mission‑critical platforms while contributing to improvement and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability and operational continuity of assigned applications.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Act as the technical focal point for vendors and third‑party service providers.
- Support and manage application components such as servers, integrations, proxies, and monitoring tools.
- Participate in application enhancement, development, and modernization initiatives.
- Support on‑premise,



cloud, and hybrid environments, including migration projects.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Service Owners, Business stakeholders, QA teams, and operational users.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge‑transfer materials.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities for improvements in performance, stability, and security.

Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in enterprise application support and operations.
- Solid knowledge of
- Application architecture and system integrations.
- .NET‑based applications and supporting technologies.
- Databases and data flows.
- Monitoring, incident, and problem management practices.
