Job Overview

Our PMO supports projects across Hitachi Vantara’s Executive Team, working within the Office of the CEO and collaborating with business unit stakeholders on initiatives such as GTM, services and delivery optimization, customer support, and business process improvement. The role is open worldwide with a preference for flexibility to work predominantly with US‑based leaders and reports to the PMO Global Lead in EMEA.

Responsibilities

- Drive coordination of executive‑level projects, independently guiding senior teams to success.
- Own and lead multiple projects, managing priorities and driving the end‑to‑end project process.
- Collaborate within a team of professional project managers to deliver measurable outcomes, including KPIs.
- Operate effectively in a complex, high‑performance culture.
- Apply Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Utilize process management tools and foster a culture of innovation, standardization, and best practice.
- Serve as a trusted advisor/SME for general teams.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, international relations, engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in project/program management roles, preferably in technology‑focused companies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office, Project/Process tools; AI tool proficiency is a plus.
- Expertise in project/program phases, stakeholder and change management.




- Excellent organizational skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders in a hybrid environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong stakeholder communication, problem‑solving, and process improvement skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and work independently.
- High level of English fluency; proficiency in another spoken language is desirable, with Japanese a plus.
- Governance and coordination experience to support a robust framework for the Executive Team.
- Experience in sales, services, or support environments; cross‑functional experience is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with senior leaders and international stakeholders.
