Overview
We are currently seeking an HR Consultant to join our team.
The main purpose of this position is to provide Human Resources advice to the business, act as a core value advocate, participate in strategic business meetings to identify people implications, and adapt to changing business/function needs when needed.
Position Highlights
This role involves planning, developing, and coordinating HR initiatives to support strategic business goals. It serves as a strategic business partner, providing services related to employee and labor relations, and acts as a liaison between management and employees.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides coaching for people leaders and employees and offers support on managing complex cases (e.g., performance, health, and exit).
- Mobilizes resources within the HR Team and other areas, as required, to support effective HR management.
- Partners with COEs (Centers of Expertise) for program coordination and/or deployment of HR policies and procedures.
- Contributes to policy development by actively working with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to ensure effective program implementation.
- Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to Human Resource issues relating to the organization.
- Ensures HR processes with partner groups are aligned with local legislation (such as in a termination or onboarding situation).
- Supports HR organization for data‑driven decision making.
- Conducts UBIP (Upstanding Behavior Inquiry Process) investigations to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Provides support for developing and implementing ID&E; and OHI actions in the country to improve the work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in human resources roles, such as HR consulting, HR generalist roles, talent acquisition, employee relations, or other relevant areas.
- A strong understanding of Chilean labor laws and regulations, including knowledge of employment contracts, labor rights, termination procedures, and other relevant legal requirements.
- Strong consulting skills on HR‑related matters, including the ability to assess internal client needs, provide strategic advice, and develop tailored HR solutions.
- Problem‑solving skills: The ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop innovative solutions is important for success in this role.
- Advanced proficiency in English is required for this position.
