Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for performing schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring. Ensure total project scope is included in the plan with appropriate schedule sequences and logic complying with critical path methodology (CPM). Develop milestones to support the project schedule and implement resource loading and leveling as required. Establish work activity durations for a specific discipline or specialty.

Major Responsibilities:

- Ensuring integration of the total project work scope for all entities, departments, and/or disciplines into the total project or study plan. Preparing and analyze comparisons of scope, quantities, and cost data between projects.
- Developing, evaluating and reviewing schedule durations for all discipline’s activities and ensure the support of project milestones. Ensuring all disciplines/departments are aware and concur with the schedule and understand their responsibility.
- Working with all disciplines and stakeholders to coordinate work sequences and identify logical relationships & interdisciplinary constraints and/or interfaces for incorporation into the plan.
- Planning, organizing, and executing schedule resource loading and leveling. Developing all bulk commodity release and installation curves. Developing progress and workforce curves and ensuring realism in planning.
- Providing schedule knowledge on a continuous basis to assist in discipline planning and interfacing with others.




- Performing schedule updates and continuous monitoring. Identifying deviations and work with the team to find and implement mitigations as required.
- Developing and implementing requirements/process for updating and monitoring the schedule.
- Performing schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities. Recommending alternatives for schedule improvement to project team.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning & scheduling functions for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). This includes schedule development, control, and analysis.
- Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes in the mining industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop complete EPC schedules from scratch.
- Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applications. Proficiency with multiple discipline specific software applications currently used in Bechtel (Primavera, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Microsoft Office Applications, for example).
- Skilled in oral and written communication, bi‑lingual English & Spanish capability is preferred.
