Logistics Operations Supervisor

Reportable to: General Manager Southern Cone, Latam
Main Purpose
The purpose of the Logistics Operations Team Leader role is the implementation and development of new logistics services, working with all internal areas involved, also external vendors and OSP, accompanying the salesperson on new sales opportunities, optimizing every improvement on performance required ensuring excellence on delivery the new service gaining client loyalty and revenue. Cut the language barrier with RFP when special operation and ensure the implementation with the local team. Provide Quotes required. Perform the trainings and support.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend clients on logistics requirements/services accompanying the Commercial Manager for new opportunities in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and other Southern Cone Latam countries that requires support.
- Interact with different internal areas such as operations (CS, Impo/Expo, CTD, Cross Docking), quality, legal, systems, procurement, etc., and external (service providers, logistics, broker, packaging etc.) towards the design and fulfillment of objectives.
- Create the Client Operation Procedure for each client when applicable.
- Perform COP's new clients training or refresh if necessary.
- Relieve operational step by step and correct costs aligned with client service requirements. Deadlines to reach all requirements for specific projects (Gantt).
- Develop with Operations Management new providers if necessary.
- Implementation of new Operational mechanisms if necessary.
- Coordinate and ensure creation of Maestro Templates for each new service and documents required available.
- Communication of Implementation for each new client to Marken offices/LSP involved with Operation details, new account involved, templates details and any specific consideration temperature, packaging required, etc.
- Set up regular meetings with Operations, quality, Branch Manager, PM, Commercial, to review Projects status, and open discussion.
- Work on deviations detected before, during or after all Operational process.
- Prepare presentations/information/reports as it is required.
- Assist and support the CRS Team on QBR or client presentations review.
- Obtain DTP training certification as per Direct-to-Patient (DTP) Training of Marken Offices and Local Service Providers.
- Be assigned and familiar with all DTP / DFP processes described in the DTP MOPs.
- Under direction of the PM, the DTP Branch Coordinator coordinates the project locally on branch level with sites, patients and third parties. This also includes the training of any LSPs based on the Territory responsibility (see attached) and provide trainings records to the local QA representative who is in charge for the maintenance and storage of the documents.
- Ensures that all operational DTP procedures are kept based on the DTP SOPs.
- Ensures that all local Marken offices and LSPs are equipped to provide the required packaging solution, or any other supplies needed for the corresponding project (as applicable).
- Taking part of DTP update Calls Monthly DTP.
- Manage the Team assigned and ensure training and goals assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade.
- 2+ years of relevant experience, including local and international logistics/Customs/Pharma Industry Market, Clinical Research, Good Practices for transport, Cold Chain knowledge.
