Financial Accountant (9 month fixed term contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated financial accountant for a 9 months assignment to join our dynamic finance team in Rotork, Chile. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and the effectiveness of our internal control environment. The adecuado candidate possesses strong technical accounting skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

- Internal Controls:
- Maintain and improve the internal control procedures




- Document procedures to ensure those are reflected into manual processes and new ERP D365
- Collaborate with various departments to remediate control deficiencies.

- Accounts Receivable:

- Manage the collections process, including following up with the client a weekly receivables report
- Monitor customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies.
- Generate aging reports and analyze outstanding receivables.

- General Accounting:

- Support quarterly, month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of financial data to provide insightful reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with Chilean accounting standards and regulations.

- Other:

- Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects and analysis.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
