About the Role

As Manager Pilots & Testing Minerals Americas, you will lead a team that develops and executes technology pilots and tests at various levels of maturity, including market‑ready solutions, emerging technologies that require de‑risking, and disruptive innovations with lower market maturity.

Key accountabilities include:

- Strive to achieve Zero Incident, 100% safety, 100% BOS customer value and 0% waste.
- Be accountable for HSE compliance and apply appropriate methodologies to deliver effective pilot projects.
- Manage end‑to‑end pilot project planning, execution, and operation; lead a team to define scope, budget, resources, risks, and test objectives.
- Lead, guide, and coach a team and external partners, fostering teamwork, trust, high performance, and respectful behavior.
- Partner with Product, Innovation Business Partners, and the Asset Leadership Team to develop the business case for deployments.
- Explore and reassess best‑fit solutions, owning decisions, outcomes, and value impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage contract execution and analysis to maximize operational and financial performance and mitigate risk.
- Plan, monitor,



and manage test work performance to deliver projects in line with safety standards, requirements, budgets, and scope.
- Develop integrated deliverables and ensure smooth transitions to project/phase closure.
- Maintain trusting relationships with operational and functional teams, fostering communication, feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Create a safe environment for team members to speak up and achieve the best business outcomes.

About You

We expect you to:

- Hold a professional degree relevant to the role; a Master’s degree is highly regarded.
- Have proven ability to lead and scale innovation pilots into core business areas quickly.
- Possess experience working with operational mine assets, ideally on brownfield expansion projects.
- Understand the day‑to‑day priorities of the assets and navigate competing interests effectively.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders and technical experts.
- Identify early indications where innovation is needed in business processes and systems.
- Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and coordinate across departments.
- Have experience in mining or related fields in a managerial role.
- Be proficient in English and Spanish.
- Be available to travel internationally.
