Your future role on our team
You’ll participate in all phases of mining projects, from prefeasibility studies to commissioning, provide expertise and high-quality consulting services for clients. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll carry out high-tech process simulations and determine the equipment, tools and processes needed.

- Actively participate in engineering development and reviews, from conceptual studies to detailed and operation engineering.
- Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers and project support staff.
- Manage a variety of cross-discipline teams to ensure cost‑effective, safe and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Review and approve design criteria and bases, calculate mass and water balances as well as metallurgical balance, perform equipment sizing, prepare reports, develop an operation philosophy, produce flow diagrams and P&ID;’s, estimate operation costs and develop operation manuals.
- Prepare capital and operating cost evaluations.
- Liaise with clients on a technical level and present reports, publications and presentations in a professional manner.
- Ensure solid coordination with other disciplines (mechanical, piping, electrical, civil and instrumentation engineering, among others).
- Coordinate designers, deliver design information to the designers/drafters and subsequently review the results to ensure everything was carried out in accordance with what was reported.
- Create and review proposals.
- Train and share experiences with younger engineers.

Overview of certifications and job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mineral processing, metallurgy or chemical engineering
- 10 years of experience in gold, copper, coal, green energy materials (lithium, graphite, etc.) or base metal operations and/or design
- Advanced English, both spoken and written
- General areas of expertise include metallurgical test work planning/analysis, crushing, grinding, flotation, hydrometallurgy, water treatment, gravity separation, pressure oxidation, heap leaching, CIL/CIP and electrowinning/refining
- Strong track record of successfully completed projects in the mining industry
- Available for occasional travel to and assignments on client sites
- Experience with Microsoft Office and process simulation software
- Significant asset: experience with feasibility studies and NI 43-101 reports
- Asset: interested in process control and optimization
- Asset: operations and/or consulting experience
- Asset: demonstrated ability in finding innovative solutions to complex metallurgical problems
