Job Responsibilities

- This is a hands‑on QA specialist position in a fast growing general business and development team.
- Has good understanding in Agile testing methodologies and SDLC practices
- Drive End to End Testing team to follow best QA practices, such as automation, non‑functional testing, and change management
- Successfully interpret business requirements, and translate the business requirements into specific case designs for very large complex solutions and integrating architecture
- Design and execute functional test cases in conjunction with other teams, including business and operational users
- Engage business sign‑offs for functional requirements post QA testing
- Review business requirements and clarify them with business
- Contribute ideas on technology and process to ensure the team is productive and successful
- Proactively identify risks, outline mitigation strategies and ability to work under pressure
- Track bugs to closure and highlight any known issues or workarounds to the project team
- Create, manage and own testing documentation in Confluence and JIRA project repositories
- Track QA metrics, estimate work and generate reports for management reporting
- Support test environment by engaging in build deployment process, and collaborate with development teams to solve environment issues
- Leverage in-house built tools to perform prod activity replications and non‑functional testing and maintain the tools in Java
- Work with integral teams and open to attend evening calls as needed

Job Qualifications

- Good requirement analysis and test case design/execution capability




- Strong oral/written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions among global BA team and business users
- Good automation skills with expertise in GUI automation (UFT, Selenium, etc.)
- Manage tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
- Strong ability to participate in requirement review and input feedback
- Good team player in solid/matrix reporting organizations
- Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
- Ability to work independently, multi‑task, take ownership and drive strategy
- Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills
- Strong documentation skills

Job Skills

- 8+ years’ experience in software testing, investment banking software testing experience is preferred
- Expert in test cycles, test tools, and testing methodologies
- Detailed knowledge relational database and SQL
- Experience with scripting of any type (Java,.Net, shell/Perl/Python, etc.) and Linux
- Experience in test automation and wide knowledge of open source testing tools is a plus
- Experience in financial industry is a plus
- Experience using Jira is a must
- Advance Excel skills
- Understanding and experience of BDD (Behavior Driven Development) framework
