Job Summary

Senior DevOps Engineer – responsible for designing, building, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for modern composable digital platforms, primarily on Google Cloud.

Location

Hybrid/remote-friendly. Preferred candidate in Latin America aligning with PT or ET. Santiago, Chile candidates can work in office or remotely; others fully remote.

Responsibilities

- Design cloud infrastructure components based on application architecture.
- Build and deploy infrastructure using IaC platforms such as Terraform.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor team members on best practices and problem resolution.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and infrastructure frameworks.
- Serve as SME during incidents, supporting resolution and root cause analysis.
- Design and implement processes and tools with the team.
- Work with Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Lead automation and deployment pipelines for all environments.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
- Deploy applications to production and lower environments per release schedule.
- Implement monitoring solutions for system health and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and support applications across environments.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT teams to promote a DevOps culture.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- 3+ years of cloud infrastructure and DevOps experience.




- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Expert proficiency with Terraform.
- Solid understanding of at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and GitLab.
- Strong networking, security, and system administration knowledge.
- Ability to analyze metrics from distributed applications for performance tuning.
- Consult on cost‑effective solutions and scalability.
- Strong scripting skills in shell, Python, etc.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
