Laborer

Starting Salary: $32,604

General Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine and heavy manual work of a semi-skilled nature. May use simple hand tools and equipment as well as brush and leaf removal equipment. Examples of duties include picking up, removal, and disposal of refuse, leaves and brush.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have working knowledge of tools and equipment, ability to perform heavy manual work in varying weather conditions, ability to understand and interpret simple oral and written instructions, and ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers.

Requirements

- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- Position requires the physical ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, reach overhead, twist, bend, climb, kneel and squat.
- This position requires ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Normal work hours

7:30 - 4:00, Monday - Friday.
