An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of Support Services staff within Victoria hospital laundry. You will be required to carry out laundry duties providing a high quality washing and finishing service for bedding and linen, uniforms, patient clothing and theatre wear to all users of the Laundry Service. Ensuring all required items are processed and delivered on time and to the higher quality standards, whilst ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of all staff is paramount throughout.

The laundry operates between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday, Saturday between the hours of 08:00 and 13:00, and Sunday between the hours of 07:00 and 12:00.

You will be reliable and versátil and have the ability to work alone or as part of a team for these posts. Good communication skills are necessary to perform this role safely and effectively.



Previous laundry experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. You will be provided with uniform and personal protective equipment where this is required and will be expected to adhere to the NHS Fife Dress Code.
