Reports to: Director of Operations

To manage and optimize the supply chain for the pharmaceutical company, ensuring the availability of high-quality products in the market while complying with local and international regulations and maximizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning and Strategy:

- Develop and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.

- Analyze market trends and forecast inventory needs to ensure product availability.

- Supplier Management:

- Select and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.

- Logistics and Distribution:

- Oversee logistics operations, including transportation and storage of pharmaceutical products.

- Implement process improvements in distribution to reduce costs and delivery times.

- Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure all supply chain processes comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and local laws.

- Coordinate internal and external audits to guarantee regulatory adherence.

- Inventory Management:

- Optimize inventory levels to minimize obsolescence risk and ensure continuous product flow.

- Implement inventory management systems and data analysis for informed decision-making.





- Interdepartmental Collaboration:

- Work closely with sales, marketing, and production departments to align the supply chain with business needs.

- Participate in new product development, ensuring logistics and supply considerations are integrated from the start.

- Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain through performance analysis and KPIs.

- Implement Lean Management and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields. An MBA or specialization in Supply Chain is a plus.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of supply chain management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

- Technical Knowledge:

- Familiarity with GMP regulations and pharmaceutical industry standards.

- Proficiency in inventory management tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

- Skills:

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.

- Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset.
