Sales and Business Development Representative

Location: Vitacura, Chile deugro was founded in Frankfurt am Main and is the first company of the deugro group, where is has its focus on integral project freight forwarding. Everyday the industry and deugro face the challenges of the logistics industry and our employees use their expertise to ensure large cargo is transported safely, effectively, and efficiently, through innovative and creative logistical solutions.

Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Sales and Business Development Representative in Vitacura, Chile.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development duties and responsibilities will include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Identify new accounts that match the company’s customer profile.
- Execute cold outreach strategies (calls, emails, outreach on social media platforms such as LinkedIn).
- To support the customer inquiries, system support and tender responses
- To liaise between the global sales organization and the local executing entities to assure that business awards translate into defined operational service provisioning
- To translate contractual obligations as outcome of an award into defined services and deliverables
- To support and police the data integrity and quality of the Oil & Gas SCM system

Key Accountabilities:

- Leading, coordinating, and reporting all Sales & Business Development activities relating to new and existing key accounts, target clients and industries.

- Regularly liaising with Developers; Project Owners, OEM’s to identify new business opportunities & deugro issues.

- Ensure clients understand the core services and value potential of deugro.

- Identifying new revenue streams solutions to encourage clients to extend our existing services.

- Leading selected initiatives working together with Regional Sales Managers.

- Support and work with pricing and tender management teams.

- Develop relationships with Developers; Project Owners, OEM key decision makers & manage customer feedback.

- Manage the opportunity pipeline, proactively managing all possible opportunities to achieve results in line with agreed targets and objectives.

- Promote clear and consistent communications within the sales team.

- Reporting on changes and trends in the marketplace and the activities of competitors.

- Compliance with all TSA, DOT, and Customs regulations (US and Foreign)

- Prepare and develop a sales strategy that is consistent with the Business Plan together with delegated manager.

- Fulfill all prescreening and documentation to adhere to corporate client procedures and processes.

- Utilize Pricing Team for completion of all bids. Provide support and guidance to ensure accuracy.

- Establish, communicate,



and implement sales targets and plans for current accounts throughout the United States in conjunction with the delegated manager.

- Meet and exceed the sales objectives of growth, profitability, and productivity with the support of the delegated manager.

- Provide ownership of activity and development on designated current accounts.

- Responsible for compiling customer package for the verification of customer credit worthiness with respect to financial and liability issues.

- Provide market intelligence about price, service comparisons by competitor, and new projects with current clients.

- Travel as required for client visits and approved by the delegated manager.

- Development and maintenance of strong long-term customer and vendor relationships.

- Overseas communications that include anticipation of needs in overnight correspondence.

- Maintaining current knowledge of seasonal, political, or other factors that could cause delay.

Objectives:

- Client portfolio and contacts – For which clients you have a lead role, and for which do you support. How often do we contact/visit clients (against own targets).

- Client gaps – Where do we have no success or poor knowledge or issues.

- Achieving agreed turnover and profit goals within the first 6 months.

- Reporting value and Number of Tenders received in the last 12 months (budget vs firm shipments).

- Success on firm shipment enquiries (conversion rate –turnover – profit).

- Project/Client Pipeline (i.e., what does the client have to award - value of future tenders).

- Minimum 3 years of Freight Forwarding / Project Freight Forwarding experience with Business Development Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing

- Driven & Hungry to develop opportunities.

- Solution focused selling and with market understanding.





- Proven track record in multi-industry disciplines.

- Ability to impact on current deugro activities in the short, medium, and long term.

- Be business plan ready, inclusive of how, why, what, and when.

- Career focused and ready to put the company first.

- Excellent communication skills – Verbal & Written.

- Computer skills: Microsoft Office suites i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.

- Compliance with all internal, Vialidad, SII and Customs regulations (Local and Foreign)

- Multitasking Skills: manages multiple projects effectively, meets multiple daily deadlines, prioritizes, and organizes tasks, handles distractions well, great focus and attention to detail, adaptative to new responsibilities.

- Responding promptly to customer’s inquiries. Communicating with customers through various channels. Acknowledging and resolving their requests.
