Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry in Chile. The idóneo candidate will have at least 3 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated sectors.

This position will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local and international accounting standards, and supporting internal audits and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and reconciliations.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with Chilean tax regulations and corporate accounting policies (IFRS and/or US GAAP if applicable).

- Support inventory accounting processes and cost analysis related to pharmaceutical products.

- Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, sales, medical) for cross-functional budgeting and financial insights.

- Prepare reports for internal audits, external audits,



and regulatory inspections.

- Monitor expenses, verify purchase orders, and ensure correct invoice processing.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local tax law and financial regulations.

- Support local and regional finance teams with forecasting and cash flow management.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. (Not Mandatory)

- Strong knowledge of Chilean tax legislation and accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP is a plus).

- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is desirable.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.

- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Intermediate to advanced English level (written and spoken).
