Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Developer role located in Santiago.

The Senior

Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions that support Financial FIT cl’s financial products and internal systems. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, improving existing code, performing code reviews, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to refine requirements. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing performance, ensuring code quality and security, and contributing to architectural decisions.

Developer is expected to mentor less experienced team members and actively participate in improving development processes and standards.

Qualifications

Strong experience in software development using modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar).

Knowledge of web application architecture, APIs, and databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) to design, implement, and maintain robust backend and frontend solutions.

Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), testing strategies, continuous integration/continuous delivery, and clean code principles.

Experience working with cloud platforms or containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.

Ability to analyze requirements, estimate work, and translate business needs into technical solutions while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Background in financial services, fintech, or data-intensive applications is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to inclusive, respectful teamwork.
