Job Summary

As BD - Origination & Permitting, you will join our Business Development team and report directly to the Head of BD South America. In this role, you will support ContourGlobal’s growth in Chile by sourcing, executing due diligence, and evaluating greenfield, brownfield, ready-to-build projects, as well as M&A; opportunities in renewable energy. You will also be responsible for assessing and managing the technical and economic feasibility associated with each opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Originate, develop, and acquire renewable energy projects (wind, solar, BESS), covering greenfield, brownfield, and M&A; opportunities. Ensure projects reach RTB stage on time and within budget. Directly deliver at least 1000 MW from Greenfield to RTB stages, contributing to BD targets and aligning with corporate KPIs and commercial leads. Design and implement mid‑long term Business Development strategy.
- Project Development & Delivery: Manage the end‑to‑end development process, including planning (Gantt charts), portfolio management,



and coordination with cross‑functional teams (ESG, Engineering & Construction, O&M;, Legal, Finance, and Commercialization). Control and report project budgets and capital needs accurately.
- Commercial Alignment: Collaborate with the Commercial team to align the development pipeline with medium, and long‑term energy commercialization opportunities.
- Contract & Partner Management: Negotiate and manage third‑party service agreements and partnerships to secure competitive project delivery. This includes Development Service Agreements, Co‑development Agreements and Acquisition (SPA).
- Permitting & Compliance: Focus on ensuring all permitting processes are aligned with local and corporate regulations, securing concessions, servitudes, CUO, and rights necessary for project development.
