Job Description

About the Role
Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a Finance Administrator to join the team that will be responsible for working closely with leaders, employees, candidates and various internal / external stakeholders.
- Assist with monthly payroll, including timesheets, ABA files, and payslips.
- Create and issue invoices and remittance advices.
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
- Enter payable invoices and prepare banking files.
- Assist with preparing financial reports for the Executive team and government submissions.
- Maintain staff records and support onboarding of new staff.
- Respond to stakeholder account enquiries with professionalism and care.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a construction environment is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with accounting software and payroll systems.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
