Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Tax Analyst to lead US tax compliance, planning, and advisory functions for our growing organization. This is a high-impact role requiring deep expertise in federal and multi-state US tax law. The idóneo candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation, capable of managing complex tax matters while ensuring compliance in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of US federal, state, and local tax compliance, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax filings
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's overall tax position
- Provide expert guidance on the tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and corporate structures
- Lead the tax provision process (ASC 740) and coordinate with external auditors during financial reviews




- Monitor and interpret changes in US tax legislation and assess the impact on business operations
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors, consultants, and regulatory agencies
- Oversee and respond to federal and state tax audits, notices, and inquiries
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and executive leadership to support M&A;, restructuring, and strategic business initiatives
- Build, mentor, and develop junior tax team members

Required Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax law — non-negotiable
- Demonstrated experience managing tax compliance and planning in a corporate or public accounting environment
- Hands-on experience with ASC 740 income tax provision and reporting
- CPA designation required; advanced degree in Taxation or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred
