Overview

Project Controller – Customer Delivery accountable for collecting, analysing, and reporting data related to the plan and schedule, cost control, engineering product control, progress monitoring, project information, and change management. In close collaboration with the project director, drives project financial and schedule monitoring and review to keep the project aligned to schedule, budget, and revenue plan, ensuring revenue recognition.

High visibility role working directly with the Project Director/Project Manager, Customer Delivery Head SAMER, and internal stakeholders globally. Drives commercial impact, revenue, margins, and cash flow in a critical business‑facing position.

Role Summary

The Project Controller – Customer Delivery sits at the heart of our execution engine, ensuring seamless delivery of complex product and integration projects across the Andes region (Chile & Peru) with additional global collaboration. The role collaborates cross‑functionally with engineering, supply chain, sales, and international teams to deliver excellence to our customers. It reports solid‑line to the Project Director and dotted‑line to the Project Control Organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage all project control activities, including creation of new projects and change orders.
- Provide aggregated project revenue and cost reporting, cash flow, budgeting, and planning, including POC forecasts, in line with Global Processes and guidelines.




- Follow up on financial aspects during execution with Finance (hedging risks, guarantee bonds, etc.) and analyse project provisions (contingencies, warranty).
- Collaborate with the Project Director to identify potential issues in the split of orders between different FLS entities and compile and consolidate financial results across all entities for a global project ID.
- Monitor progress, collaborate on forecast review, and support the Project Director in monthly internal reportability (CER Review), FCC and Global POC files.
- Manage project changes using local engineering and business systems, and produce timely cost status/progress reports.
- Support revenue plan preparation, monitor revenue recognition, and collaborate with the scheduler and Procurement Manager to verify budget and identify savings.
- Generate preventative measures, perform schedule and cost risk analyses, prepare detailed data estimates, and provide deviation analysis on critical and change management issues.
- Follow up on change orders (internal and external) and invoicing milestones of the project portfolio.
- Prepare and control cash‑flow of the project portfolio.
- Participate in kick‑off meetings and collaborate with SCM, Expeditor, Buyer, Logistics to collect inputs for progress, financial results, and actions needed to maintain the revenue plan.
- Proactively identify and participate in mitigation risk plans.
- Drive KPIs & success metrics: revenue achievement vs. plan, accurate and on‑time reporting of cost and financial status,



accurate profitability forecast, on‑time invoicing, and project portfolio reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- +10 years’ experience in a similar role within mining or heavy industry project environments.
- Strong background in project execution, contract management, and customer‑facing roles.
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Proven experience in project control, FLS ERP systems across different FLS entities (Epicor, Oracle, etc.), risk management, and project financials/accounting.
- High ownership and accountability mindset, proactive, self‑driven, and results‑oriented.
- Leadership and team collaboration skills, ability to manage conflict and stakeholder expectations effectively.
