Job Context

The divisions international business has witnessed tremendous growth across the globe, specifically in Africa, UAE, Saudi and other Asian and European countries. Latin America is the latest growth avenue in the Infrastructure sector and the company has already made its entry here with projects in Chile, Suriname, and Guyana. To further business growth in Latin America in the sectors of Transmission Lines, Sub Stations and Solar, the company is in the process of expanding presence in countries such as Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela, Paraguay and others.

Role

The role holder would ensure business growth for the company in LATAM region by through strategic business acquisition and project delivery by leading a team of Country Managers in timely execution of projects within budgeted financials and strict adherence to Quality and Safety standards.

Key Deliverables

- Formulate business strategy for LATAM region
- Study current, short term and long term LATAM market
- Carry out Competitor Analysis
- Evaluate varied operating/execution models
- Present business case for LATAM expansion
- Build Company Structure for LATAM region
- Ensure Business Acquisition in line with Strategy
- Liaison with governments on Infrastructure expansion plans and sense opportunities
- Leverage current Customer associations for repeat orders
- Participate in Tenders in close co - coordination with HQ Tender teams
- Strategies for favourable tender pre - qualification




- Build network for Nomination Order
- Gain/Loss analysis for strategy inputs
- Project / Order execution
- Ensure operation excellence across all projects in LATAM
- Set up Project review mechanisms and ensure necessary corrective
- Ensure meeting of P&L; targets of all LATAM projects
- Roll out operation cost reduction initiatives
- Project Revenue Planning (EPC) and its achievement
- Ensure processes enabling co - coordination between Design, Tower Manufacturing & Execution as well as with Procurement team for approvals and despatches
- Ensure processes to achieve safety and quality standards in the Customer Management & Government Liaison
- Establish regular touch with Key Customer stakeholders
- Set up systems to elicit Customer feedback and act upon Customer Delight Gaps
- Participate in Customer reviews and ensure resolution of action points
- Closely work with Customer representatives to resolve project hurdles
- Liaise with government officials to establish preferred vendor status for KPIL
- Participate in country conferences to enhance Customer Network
- Talent Development & Culture Management
- Establish and preserve the organization Culture in LATAM operations
- Own Talent Development and retention initiatives of the company
- Ensure Learning & Development Opportunities for all employee levels
- Ownership of Performance and Potential Review processes
