About the job Senior Prior Authorization

Remote | Full-Time | US Eastern Hours

We're looking for an experienced Senior Prior Authorization Specialist & Team Lead to support behavioral and mental health practices with insurance verification and eligibility.

Responsibilities:

- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Review copays, deductibles, coinsurance, session limits, telehealth coverage, and prior authorizations
- Accurately document benefits in the EHR
- Resolve eligibility discrepancies and flag potential issues
- Help train and support new verification specialists

Requirements:

- Experience in US medical insurance verification, billing, or revenue cycle
- Behavioral/mental health experience required
- Knowledge of insurance eligibility, payer portals, and prior authorization
- Experience with SimplePractice or TherapyNotes is a plus
- Strong English communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work US Eastern hours
