McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Apex Machine Control Technology Manager.

Our John Deere Machine Control Technology Manager is responsible for the after-sale performance and technical support of all Topcon , SmartGradeTM and Trimble integrated grade control equipped machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):

- Maintain a comprehensive customer database.

- Develop expertise in construction technology and SmartGrade™, TopCon and Trimble products.

- Support MCF territory managers with SmartGrade™ ™, TopCon and Trimble machine sales, setup, and support.

- Monitor inventory levels of SmartGrade™™, TopCon and Trimble and construction technology and provide updates and recommendations to management.

- Ensure customer satisfaction and manage disputes through appropriate channels.

- Follow up with customers post-purchase to confirm satisfaction.

- Assist with accounts receivable collection as needed [1].

- Document all sales, rentals, and demonstrations according to company processes.

Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, or Marketing, or equivalent industry experience.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience with related equipment and/or relevant training.

- Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive and work ethic.

- Thorough understanding of construction technology, including GNSS, Total Stations, and Machine Control.

- Proven track record using Topcon, Trimble, or Leica machine control in construction projects.

- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.





- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.

- Comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry.

Benefits:

- $65,000 base + commission. Expected earning $100,000 - $180,000.
