Scope
The Product Manager will be responsible for the optimal management of the product supply chain, supported by forecast tools, and will support the sales, marketing and BI groups in all areas specific to product planning, management and strategy for TV, Gaming, Mobile Products (digital and physical).
Additionally, the role will generate price and product portfolio strategies based on market insights and perform category profitability analysis.
Responsibilities
Create product strategy by category for gaming, TV, and mobility by territory/channel, digital and physical, with the initiative starting in Chile and expanding across LatAm.
Develop initial forecast per product and achieve consensus with Sales and Planning teams.
Create yearly roadmap and update quarterly with the team.
Define and review product life cycles based on sales and inventory performance; efficiently control inventory and manage defined weeks of supply.
Define initial forecast for new products using historical sales information or similar product performance.
Coordinate with HQ vendor services for new product introduction and follow‐up.
Follow up on product post‐mortem analyses.
Collaborate with Marketing to provide product and sales kits by brand (expected volumes, prices, sales & marketing sheets).
Obtain product PSIs and daily reports from Product Analysts and Data Analysts to analyze product performance.
Generate analysis and recommendations based on market intelligence information.
Develop promotion programs and administer promotional funds.
Lead product pricing strategy.
Supervise the Product Analysts Team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration required; Master's in Marketing or an MBA is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager (leading people), including commercial strategies, commercial plans, and brand contacts.
Experience in entertainment, mobility, or consumer electronics industry preferred.
Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Must be organized, creative, resourceful, strategic, and results‐oriented.
Self‐driven, results‐oriented, with a positive outlook, forward planning, teamwork, and the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, mainly Excel and PowerPoint.
Candidate must be based in Santiago, Chile.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must.
