Job Overview

EU-M-S Sistemas is seeking a dedicated Network and Security Administrator (Administrador de Redes y Seguridad) to manage, optimize, and protect our core network infrastructure and digital assets. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, maintaining security protocols, monitoring firewall configurations, and safeguarding the organization against cyber threats and operational downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems).
- Implement, manage, and monitor network security controls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), EDR solutions, and access control policies.
- Monitor network performance, throughput, and bandwidth usage to identify bottlenecks and maintain high availability.
- Enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, Active Directory/LDAP administration, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Perform regular system backups, vulnerability assessments, security patching, and disaster recovery testing.
- Respond to network outages, system alerts, and security incidents, conducting root-cause analysis and swift remediation.
- Document network topology,

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, System Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration, system security, or network infrastructure management.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, Network+, or vendor-specific certifications (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco) are highly desirable.
- Hands-on expertise with firewalls, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VPN protocols, and SIEM monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking (AWS/Azure), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and Linux/Windows server administration.
- Strong analytical, analytical troubleshooting, and crisis-management skills.
- Professional fluency in Spanish; intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
