Job Overview

Glycerol Mail SpA is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure our core IT infrastructure, server networks, and cloud communications systems. In this role, you will ensure high availability, optimal system performance, and robust cybersecurity protocols across our corporate operations and user network.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, cloud services, and network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs).
- Monitor system performance, storage capacity, and network traffic to ensure operational stability and minimal downtime.
- Configure, deploy, and administer email servers, messaging gateways, active directory/identity management, and user permissions.
- Execute system backup protocols, disaster recovery plans, and cybersecurity measures to safeguard enterprise data.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for internal teams.
- Perform regular system updates, software patches, security audits, and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or System Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server environments, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and virtualization.
- Strong knowledge of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3, DNS/DKIM/SPF/DMARC) and mail server management.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, MCSA, AWS Certified SysOps) are highly preferred.
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal).
